A Simply Gorgeous Tiny Beach Shack

Houses don't need to be big to be beautiful -especially when they're intended as perfect summer beach houses. WMR Architects' Casa Till in Los Arcos, Chile is a perfect example.

Like the Fall House in Big Sur, this glass-filled beach house is perched just atop a cliff overlooking the home's amazing views of surf and sky. The single-story, solar-powered residence blends in seamlessly with its surroundings with a locally-sourced pine roof and flooring, and glass walls. The open floor plan includes an array of sliding walls to allow for additional privacy inside the glass walls along ith changing room sizes based on the user's needs.

While the home may not be big, the flexible room sizes and wall-to-ceiling glass panels make the 700 square-foot structure seem drastically larger than its modest size would otherwise allow.

Attached to the home is a simple staircase that allows residents to travel all the way down the cliffs to access the beautiful beach below. Amazingly, not only is the home difficult to see along the cliffside, but it's practically invisible from the road, which was a specific request of the clients who commissioned the design.
